He then oversaw the production of the spin-off Divinity: Dragon Commander, released in 2013. Around that time he came to the decision to make Larian a self-publishing company. Also one can literally just dump their whole party if they wanted to. It seemed like a good example of trying to include everyone. It had woke elements in it, but wasn't shoving it in your face or preaching to you. Every YouTube comment section or steam discussion has one person screaming how much they hate it, and people are quick to defend which creates disproportionately high engagement for the hater. Occasionally I hear it’s a little overdone, pushing romance in your face a bit hard, but it’s still a well received aspect of the game. Pretty much anyone I’ve talked to enjoys that aspect of the game. Vocal minorities can be pretty loud, but ultimately they’re still a small number of people. Not sure that’s as big an issue as you make it sound.
